There are quite a few in Downtown within walking distance, but your best bet is to take a taxi to Little Havana on Calle Ocho (SW 8th St), just 5-10 minutes from the hotel. Here are some places, and you can also look them up on Yelp to see the ratings:

Tinta y Cafe

El Pub

Exquisito Cafeteria

Arahi's Bakery

You could also go to Bongo's located at the back of the American Airlines Arena (AAA) at the entrance to the Port of Miami. It is owned by Gloria Estefan, as well as Lario's on Ocean Drive on South Beach (but, you will pay South Beach prices). Go for the true mom & pop experience, and go to Little Havana.

Yelp at: www.yelp.com is a web site that has reviews of anything to do with travel in any city of decent size. It could be suggestions or reviews of resturants, hotels, spas, shopping etc, you name it.

Keep in mind that the reviews are just like this forum and you can get good or bad advice so it's up to you to make a judgement call.

Versaille is ok, but I would HIGHLy suggest "Jambo"..it's Nicaraguan..in that same area...and even better than Cuban food! Plus they make their own juices right in front of you and portions large enough to feed 3. No kidding..it's a jewel.
