beach close to the port in san juan

:cool::cool:we're arriving in san juan for just a few hours on thanksgiving day and really just want to enjoy a beach not too far from the port. we stayed there last november so have already toured and shopped. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

The closest beach to the pier is Escambrón. But, the Condado, Ocean Park and Carolina beaches are all within a reasonable distance (2 to 10 miles). You could visit any of them during your port stop.

I would take a cab to isla verde beach. It is the nicest beach near the port.
