Any private tour recommendations for Toulon to Aix?

We have a group of 14 family members (all adults) so I think it makes sense to check into a private tour rather than renting cars to get from the dock to Aix en Provence. Any recommendations?

We used SSK Dreamliner in Toulon to go to Aix and Marseille. I was pretty happy with them because you can let them know what you want to see and they'll figure out the best routes to take. Detailed blogs like yours are invaluable, thanks. I will be looking into those travel wallets. Everyone recommends Romeinlimo but it is not easy to find a Toulon tour operator, I would love other recommendations from CCs, but will look into yours. I had a great experience out of Naples with AP tours, we drove all over the Amalfi coast with 2 other couples, stopping where we wanted to.

We used Revelation Tours while we were in France. We were not in Toulon, but I noticed on their website that they do serve that area.

 

We were quite pleased with their service and correspondence.

Thanks for the recommendations here. It looks like we may stop in Toulon and trying to decide what to do. Nice to see this is an option. I hear it's quite a day to try and see Provence.

There are just 4 of us in my party so it really makes sense to use the ship tour for Toulon. We just wanted to go to Aix - getting there by train seemed to take longer and be more expensive.

 

I contacted a company for a quote and they gave me 336 euro from the ship to Aix and return. For a bigger party I am sure it would be worth it.

My husband and I always travel just the 2 of us. We met people on our roll call here on CruiseCritic to form tour groups of 8! We did that for Florence, Rome, Villefranche, and Marseille/Toulon. It worked out really well and we made some friends that we still keep in touch with to this day!! :)

I want a tour that will show me where Cezanne lived and worked and also perhaps the lavendar fields, my husband wants a winery tour. Does anyone know if there is a site that rates tour operators like the Trip Advisor for hotels?
