Tours with P & O in Ocho Rios

Hi

Can anyone recommend a good tour in Ocho Rios . We are sailing with P & O and I would like to book through them.

Our first choice was cool runnings but this is now booked up so I am now trying to choose between Best of Ocho Rios (does anyone know how long the scenic drive is on this tour) and Ultimate Jamaical Adventure.

Any advice appreciated

The Bob Marley Zion bus is a great day out, if you like Bob Marley :D

 

You get scenery, music, history, food, drink and also something a bit stronger if required, but that is probably best avoided.

We just did river tubing. Good fun day out and safe (quite gentle with only a few rapids). Well recommended!

We booked the Bob Marley trip this week, should be a laugh at least!

Don't be worried about booking an independent,tailor made tour. We did this and had a great day.

 

Just research the tour operator thoroughly. No payment in advance, pay at the end of the tour. You can't go wrong and you get a local person with extensive knowledge and a true taste of the island.

If you go it alone please be aware of unlicenced taxis though - we spoke to someone who was taken to the middle of nowhere after an island tour and were told to hand over $400 to get home otherwise they were to be left stranded! They paid it...........
