FLL car service that provides car seat???

Yes, another car seat question...I apologize.:o

 

Has anyone ever used a car/limo/taxi/shuttle service that can provide a car seat?

 

We are going to FLL to Port Everglades. I refuse to bring her car seat because we are already bring her HUGE uppababy stroller. I do not want to lug a car seat and stroller through the airport and on to a plane, and then try to find room for them both in our cabin. We have no plans on taking her off the ship so we will not need a car seat during our sailing.

Are you flying in the day of the cruise, or staying overnight before your cruise? Many hotels offer free transfers, and they use busses that do not require a carseat. If you take the cruise line transfer, it will also be a bus so no seat needed. EM

Definitely use a bus of some sort....even tho a taxi/car will be about 15 mins. and cheap!

WE are looking it to that too. It will be $60 for the 4 of us to get to port using rci's shuttle. I was hoping I could hire a car with car seat for a little cheaper.

We're using shuttlediscount.com- $13pp for the adults, baby is free. Yes, they provide a rearfacing toddler seat.

So I emailed a place called Fort Lauderdale Limo Service, and this was their reply:

"Thank you for your enquire.

The cost of your private trip will be $39 + 20% gratuity plus $7.00 for the car seat. If you need a round trip would be that rate for each way.

This price includes all fees, tolls and charges, there are no hidden fees."

This was for 3 adults and an infant.

Its good to know that there are different options out there.
