becwe Posted November 18, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 18, 2010 I'm confused (my husband says that's my normal state ) Is the buffet in the evening by reservation? thought I read that somewhere. Does it have the same choices as the dining room?
dkjretired Posted November 18, 2010 #2 Share Posted November 18, 2010 I'm confused (my husband says that's my normal state )Is the buffet in the evening by reservation? thought I read that somewhere. Does it have the same choices as the dining room? Celebrity had an option in the buffet area for casual dining which cost $2.00 pp and reservations were required. This option was off a menu that was not the same as the Main Dining Room. Celebrity is currently in the process of eliminating this option and depending on when you go, it may or may not be available. This was an excellent alternative to the MDR. Below is a link to what will be replacing this dining area, I believe there is some explanation of dates on the various ships. http://www.celebritycruises.com/aboutceleb/pressDetails.do;jsessionid=0000prafe52HA7MHNRSkWm1GuAS:12h3rnd1c?pagename=press_room_details&event_date=2010-10-11&event_type=press_release&sequence_code=A

So, has anyone tried out the new food? What do you think?
richsea Posted November 18, 2010 #4 Share Posted November 18, 2010 We were aboard Millennium this past week & felt that the new options on "Casual Dining Blvd." were nothing more than marketing hyperbol; a partial buffet & not nearly as inviting as the opportunity to have a casual sit-down meal provided by waiter service. It was a definite step down from what was previously offered.
