Aurora has Norovirus

Just reading that Aurora has norovirus onboard today, gulp, I'm on her next Saturday for a weekender. Hope they don't delay us for a deep-clean as we only get less than 48 hours on her anyway :(

where did you read about the norovirus, i'm due to be on that cruise as well. Hope there is no problems.

The main P&O community site (FORUM) has a thread on it,live from Aurora.

 

The ss buffet has been closed for days and all usual precautions in place.

 

If we get onboard I wonder where we will be directed to for lunch? Lets hope over the next few days the number of cases reduce and all is back to normal. For the passengers onboard now and us due to go onboard soon.

All appears to be ok again now according to a report from the ship on the P&O site. The Orangery is open and hopefully that's the end of the outbreak.

I've never considered a weekender. Guess it's a good way to check out the ships you may want to cruise on. :cool:

Hardly surprising when so many people don't use the hand gel, don't wash when they they leave the toilets and dirty pigs pick food up in the buffet with their hands!

Hopefully no more cases will be reported and all will be OK for Saturday.

 

Weekenders yes are a great way of trying out a new ship before booking a longer cruise. If you live under 2-3 hours from Southampton, we leave home 9.30am and are onboard eating lunch usually by 12.30pm !:)
