If I haven't been at the pizza counter at 4AM, I'm up with the birds when I cruise, like Nassau morning...especially the first morning waking up at sea...:) We were scheduled to arrive at 7AM and at 5:45 I was up and out on the balcony, followed in short order by Jude and Dano...it was breathtaking as always to watch the light creep into the sky and the island appearing on the horizon....

The toga party incident.... for some time now in the thread we have been batting around the toga party and had narrowed down when we planned to have it and where (Nassau day after late dinner in the piano bar).

Well due to some shenanigans that my doppelganger Bob Anderson had written with some of the lovely ladies of the Crazie Dreamers forum I somehow was in danger....danger of being jumped and forcefully dressed in a toga. I had only caught the occasional hint of this master plot to surprise me with duct tape (pink in color no less) and a toga sheet, and further toga party adornments. I brushed all these idol threat off as harmless posturing... Boy was I wrong!

 

On the night in question I entered the Piano bar none the wiser to the sinister plot that was afoot. Now I noticed several exchanged glances as the ring leader gave the nod (NOT ME, ANGRI), with a whisper the plan sprang into action. A bed sheet appeared from nowhere and I was being flanked from all sides by duct tape crazed women in toga outfits.!!!!

 

Gentlemen, the fear and horror I felt was unimaginable, what pain and suffering was I to endure? Just what did these crazed women with duct tape have in mind? I stood my ground and fought off the urge to scream like a 5 year old girl. Well I actually just sat there and kept saying ..ummm what are you all doing... But I assure you that the pain and mental anguish was real, I was in fear for my life....we at least in fear of exactly where they planned to put that duct tape!

 

From here on out it becomes a blur, I remember being bound and wrapped like a hastily wrapped present for the duct tape toga women's amusement. My camera has some photographic evidence of the occurrence, my my mind has rightfully blocked out the incident so as not to have me relive the horror over and over. I only share the following pictures with you in hopes that you remain aware. The toga women of duct tape can and do attack with little to no provocation. Be afraid be very afraid!

Remember folks remain alert, the are out there!

 

I want to thank the aforementioned duct tape wielding women of the toga incident for making this quite an interesting evening, you all are truly Crazie!

I wonder if penthouse might be interested in a slightly different take on this story hmmmm.....with some poetic license and some much needed hyperbole hmmmmmm

 

 

 

WAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! Well done!! Please hold momentarily while I share the "insider" pics that turned up on my camera from that evening. *innocent look* I only kept them to assist in capturing the culprits involved in this devious behavior. I, for one, am APALLED that this even happened!!

 

Ward or Bob or whoever you are! If you rat me out, I'm spilling those pictures I took of you without your pants!!!! lolololol!!! OH yes buddy....oh yes! I had my camera! lol ;):D

 

BHAHAHAHAHA!!! Penthouse???? lol Almost got that one past me. After I posted I saw the little white line....NICE TRY ANDERSEN!!!

LOL!!!

Wish I was there for the fun but mom and I arrived later in our togas. At first it was just going to be me but later my mom reconsidered but dad being a spoiled sport he stayed in the room.:( I needed to have some fun considering the sail away had some stress (Almost late to port and thought I had lost my moms passport but luckly when we came back from a fun day in Nassau it was on the vanity):D. I had my first alcohol drink which was the mocha vacation getaway which was yummy!! The picture is of my moms toga for some reason my picture is not working arggh! I was trying to make a toga that reflects me but there was no panda fabric so I did the next best thing by finding fabric with bamboo leaves on it. I was going to match hers with the same fabric but in gold but I forgot to pack it. After the toga party went to the comedy show with Percy Crews II who was super funny I got pictures taken with him but the attachments is not working.:mad:

After looking at some of the Toga pics already posted, I can see that it may look a little different than my side of the story. I was meandering about the piano bar in toga gear waiting for someone to show to validate that my shimmery outfit wasn't my elegant attire. Finally, some showed:

Here is the Crazie Agenda for Nassau Day...

 

In Port - 7am to 2pm

Lido Aft for Sailaway

Paid Cocktail Party - 3:30-4:30

Dinner at all seating times as chosen

Toga party after dinner starting in the PB

 

It was definitely a pace your way day:eek::p

 

In Nassau, we thought about going back to Fish Fry, it rocks if you haven't been, but laziness getting off the ship and the early departure dictated a more leisurely wander off the ship and walk around the port area...and shopping for Mama...she was most pleased with the jelelry sets for $5 and stocked up happily:)

 

I found these which I haven't seen before, carved from real shells (even the spoons!!) and hand made in the Bahamas, 2 for $15. I do love finding stuff made where I am and these are great little servers for condiments that make me smile every time I use them...

Some of the bottoms aren't as pretty as the insides so make sure you check when you pick...

 

 

Oh those are so cute!!! Now I have to go back!!!
