Stone Island tour

I read it thanks.

I'm still torn on what the best route is. We are thinking the kids would enjoy the boat ride of the harbor. Plus its all we can drink if we do the tour and all kinds of drinks. I thought I read you can only get beer at the bars.

I def see the value in just paying for what you want to do. My kids are talking about boogey boarding and to only spend $3-4 per board sounds great to me.

i would really concider doing stone island on your own and not booking with anyone. it is so easy to get to on your own and very easy to decide what to do once you get there. we were a group of 14 (ages6-50). we all walked to the water taxi and back with no probs. we rented horses, boogie boards once there loved our day. not crowded at all. lot sof other activites (banana boat, atv). look up all the info on stone island here on the boards. there are tons of posts and info from myself and others. have fun.

Not a whole lot to see. Also I have read many posts that indicate that the harbor portion is sometimes skipped due to time.

As for drinks...we did the all you can drink and found it is not all that great. Drinks were watered down and there was one choice of beer.

Has anyone ever used this company.

Sounds like they ahve a good offering at a descent price! Any feed back on what to do in Mazatlan is welcome as well.

We will be in Mazatlan next month and we plan to go to Stone Island as well.

Been researching this board for months and so far I am leaning toward booking with a tour company as we are traveling as a multigenerational family. I have read various instructions on how to get to the beach and if it’s just my wife and myself, It’s no problem. But with my in-laws and the kids, I am opting for simplicity in exchange for paying extra.

Once we have done it once and have an idea of the lay of land, next visit we will do it on our own, but for a first time visit, I am leaning toward simplicity. Up to you to decide what works best for your family.

As for this tour company, they are not getting the best of reviews on trip advisor. Granted the reviews are couple years old, but absence of more positive current reviews, I am mot sure I would go with them.

During my research, I am leaning toward King David tours:

The time we did a tour we used King David and had no problems. Well run. I would recommend that company. However there was a group from another tour company (They advertise on this site) that had nothing but problems. Missed lunches, no drinks and very disorganized. Many upset folks.
