Almost Packed Posted November 24, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 24, 2010 I booked my cruise, and paid $300 pp X2 for our cabin. I DID NOT book early saver. We have decided to do a land vacation instead for this particular destination...Costa Rica. There just is not enough time in this port. My question is, if I cancel my cruise, how long does it take usually for the cruise line to credit my $'s back to my account? Did you have any problems? Yes, I know, I should be asking CCL this question. However, before I let go of my beautiful, awesome aft wrap balcony, I want to know...and the CC boards are the place for all questions and answers! firefly333 Posted November 24, 2010 #2 Share Posted November 24, 2010 They tell you it depends on your bank and can take up to one billing cycle. Banks are part of the problem you cant factor in. Seems someone at Carnival told folks it would take 10 days for the Splendor cruises to be refunded. .. but your bank can hold things up longer. Make sure you cancel before final payment. AdGuyMG Posted November 24, 2010 #3 Share Posted November 24, 2010 You should see a credit back to your account between 6-10 business days.
travelntreats Posted November 24, 2010 #4 Share Posted November 24, 2010 As fire stated.... the cruiseline will be rather quick to AUTHORIZE the refund.....it's your bank that could cause the delay of the refund to be applied to your c.card or bank account. ;)
