Carnival 12 days of Christmas Sale

I know a lot of us all tried to call in at 2 pm or whatever time it was each day to get the bargain of the day. Like it would be a balcony cabin for $399 on Conquest, Valor or Glory .. or whatever .. but only 3 cabins on each ship so it took about 3 seconds for them to sell out. Waste of time to call in.

Especially the infamous one they have been using periodically lately that goes something like this for example.

4A cabin on CCL ship X goes for $399 then they announce the big sale.

Get $100 OBC on this same sailing same category 4A but now the price is $499 but hurry to get your OBC for this big limited time OBC sale.

They must think their clients are all idiots especially when you consider the $100 OBC costs CCL maybe $40 or sometimes less depending on what the client uses it in while onboard. So in this example they are making more $$ from their sale pricing then regular rates.
