Port of Miami Parking

I'm sailing from the Port of Miami next week and since I haven't sailed from there for a couple of years, can someone tell me if the port parking is still free for those driving and having a "disabled parking permit"? Some one told me that you must have an electric scooter with a cary-all on the back of the car, but I know that is mandatory for Port Everglades in Ft. Lauderdale, was not the same in Miami. Tried to call Port of Miami on the phone today, but the offices are not open on saturday. HELP!!! Thanks. ;)

All you need is the parking placard in Miami.:)

Just got off the Pearl 2 weeks ago all I needed was my handicapped info and they will fill out some paperwork and let you park for free.

Thanks for the info guys. I've parked at the Miami Port several times using the disabled tag, but it's been a couple of years since and it's nice to know that it's still effect.

At 20 bucks a day, it's quite a savings. :rolleyes:
