Well we fly on Saturday ,hope this snow b******s off doesn't seem too bad in Manchester as yet but hope you lot flying from Scotland take off ok.Hopefully the ground staff at the airports will work their little socks off to clear the runways. Roll on the sun!!!!!!:eek:

Good luck all flying out at the weekend. At least the airports will be prepared, but getting to the airports is a different matter. Get there the night before if you can. :)

More snow here in Leeds today. Not much on the other side of t'bog, according to daughters who have emigrated there.

We are staying in the Crowne Plaza( on site) on Friday as our check-in is 5.30a.m. on Saturday.

See you at the airport or in one of the many bars during the next two weeks.

We're snowed in here in Penistone. Even our main road is covered over, which very rarely happens.

Hi u2 cruiser we are up at Emley weather here atrocious traffic is getting through at a snails pace hopefully it should start picking up soon .We have a 4 wheel drive so should be able to make it ok we will just have to keep an ear out for the traffic on the M62 and set off a bit earlier.Geecee we are on same flight as you so lets hope no delays seems most flights at Manchester are taking off today but with about an hours delay so thats not bad :(:eek:

Hi u2cruiser: we're down in Totley, SW corner of Sheffield and on the edge of the Peak District. We've had almost 2 feet of the stuff, mostly yesterday & last night. This is what the patio table looked like this morning.

Both Gatwick and Edinburgh airports are shut until tomorrow (Thursday), but wind is going round to the South West about Friday, so should warm up a bit.

There haven't been any posts from passengers who haven't got away this weekend, so hopefully everyone made it.
