Ya - the south sounds real good right now - especially since we just got a good dump of snow -27 with the wind chill - and highway closed both east and west of us due to major accidents. Don't you just love winter. Did you spend any time in the summer up here. By the way where are you from.

I truly believe either pronunciation is acceptable...I almost always say "KUH-rib-ee-un"...the only time I pronounce it the other way is when it's part of a commercial product, such as the Disney movie Pirates of the Caribbean ("Kare-ruh-BEE-in")
