wecca Posted December 10, 2010 #1 Share Posted December 10, 2010 Does anyone have picutres of the 1A cabins on the Elation?
firefly333 Posted December 10, 2010 #2 Share Posted December 10, 2010 I dont have pictures, but Im told they are a little smaller than a regular inside, but because there is only one twin bed on the floor, there will be more floor space. One bunk over the twin that comes out of the wall.

wecca Posted December 13, 2010 Author #5 Share Posted December 13, 2010 Cruise Line Rooms has very few pictures of cabins on Elation and no pictures of the 1A. So, I am still looking for any pictures.
firefly333 Posted December 13, 2010 #6 Share Posted December 13, 2010 Look at any fantasy cabin .. surely there is a picture of a bunk bed down. The cabins are all the same.
k2excursion Posted December 14, 2010 #7 Share Posted December 14, 2010 I'll check tomorrow to see if I've got pics of my 1A on the Elation. It is a little smaller than an inside (160 sq.ft. by comparison to 185 sq.ft). Because a 2nd bed takes up 21 sq.ft. worth of space, the amount of open floor space is almost equal (slightly less in a 1A). If you are going solo, it's plenty of space. For 2 people, though, I highly recommend spending $40 extra and going for either a porthole PT or an inside 4A room. You would each have a regular bed and more space. In my Elation 1A, walking through the doorway of the room, the room was wider (instead of longer, like with regular rooms) than it was long. The bed was pushed up against the wall on the right side. The long side of the bed was against the wall. To the left of the room was the closets and the bathroom. The desk was directly in front of the door, against the back wall. And there was plenty of open space in the middle. No couch.
