cab fare to South beach hotel?

We are staying at a small hotel on Collins Ave post-cruise. Any idea how much cab fare from the port would be? Had thought of renting car from port but car rentals are extremely expensive since we will be docking on Dec. 24. Plan to take airporter (if it runs)to airport and rent a car from MIA on Christmas in order to visit relatives and drive up to PBI that night.

 

How does this sound? Any suggestions? If the cab fare is too much, maybe we should rent a car earlier (and pay for parking). thanks

I would take a cab. Should run around $30.00.

 

Call the hotel and ask them if they know about what the price will be. I am sure they will.
