Are taxi's available? thanks, When you get off the ship there will be plenty of open-air taxi's waiting to take you to Cane Garden Bay. There are people who will direct you to the taxi. They depart as each taxi fills up- which is pretty quick. The cost is $6 each way I think. It is a hair-raising, windy curvy ride through a very scenic country. The beach it self is beautiful. When you are ready to go back, there will be the same open air taxi's waiting to go back. Just hop on any taxi that is filling up to go back. This is a painless, easy process to get back and forth and you will love the beach.

Rare skittl1321 Posted January 10, 2011 #6 Share Posted January 10, 2011 We were just there, it was $8 pp both ways. There are TONS of taxis at the port, and it seemed one man who filled they all up, as they each waited in line. Open aired, and closed vans (we went for a van). You can tell your cab driver when to come get you, and he will (we favor using the same car again when we know it is in good repair!) but as we were leaving it looked like every single taxi on the island was there. They all tried to get you to go with them instead, but if you told them who you were looking for, they would point you to the direction of your driver. The view from the water towards the beach is gorgeous, the water is fun to play in, but the beach is insanely crowded!
