Sailing Carnival Dream 23rd Dec Port Canaveral

We are flying from Gatwick to Orlando with BA on Wed 22nd Dec, then onto overnight in hotel and board the Dream on Thursday. Any other Brits on this trip? Any folk from the USA want to link up with us as we are new to the Carnival Line although we are seasoned cruisers. Age around the 50's and fully fit and active. Could do with knowing what to pack for this ship to be honest and also what not to pack. Any tips for port activities also appreciated too. Which is the best resturant for casual dining please and do we need much by the way of formal type clothes? Any comments well received Thanks all. Gina:cool:

I am cruising on the Sensation not the Dream, but apparently both are leaving on the 23rd from Port Canaveral and going to the Bahamas for 3 days. Must be popular destination :)

Come check out our roll call! It is very active, with other people from England also on there. We will be having an informal meet and greet at the aft lido bar at sail-away, and a more formal one on the first sea day at the piano bar. All details on that thread. Just go to roll call board, go to Dream, find the date, and there you go. Lots of shore excursion suggestions there as well. See you Thursday!:D
