Crown miniputt and green flash.

We were on the Crown miniputt course as we left Princess Cays for FLL

(Dec 18-23). The sky was clear to the horizon as the sun set.

I got a great, quick view of the green flash. Doesn't last long,

maybe a second, but this was the best view I have had yet.

Of course, my camera was in the cabin; click link for other pics.

Oh, Crown needs to redo the miniputt course, it is in rough shape.

However, we still had fun and the view is awesome from up there!

:cool::cool:

PS. It is not a flash in a 'flash bulb' sense. More of a color shift.

maxxedout2, we were on the same sailing and watching the sunset the same time that you were. My husband and I purposely were looking for the green flash but didn't see it. Saw this back in the summer in Hawaii.

Didn't think the putt-putt course was in that bad of shape. Just boring.

So far, I've seen the green flash 4 times, last time when on the Celebrity Equinox early December. This photo is from a January, 2009 cruise. Taken from our balcony while at Grand Turk.

Can't say about the putt-putt, though.
