Epic med cruise

Lyndsey, the two ships you mention are very different. The Epic is much bigger, newer and completely different culture to the Sovereign. There are no formal nights on the Epic, instead they have a "dress up or not night" and of course the dining is all open seating with a much bigger choice of dining venues. We have been on both and although the Sovereign was many years ago, the Epic would be our preference. The shows are different as well with no production shows on the Epic but shows like the Blue Man Group and Legends. I am sure you will have a great cruise on the Epic. We are not NCL only cruisers, we have enjoyed cruising with most of the US lines and they all have their plus and minus points. Enjoy.
