After the redo of the ship, can one get internet service in their stateroom via WiFi/Ethernet or do we still have to go to the computer areas?

They did not install ship-wide Internet. There areseveral hot spots, including the Rendezvous.

Thanks. That is what I was afraid of....Do you know if an iPad works in the lounge or do I need to bring my PC netbook?

It depends on where your stateroom is located. We were recently in 7179 and had wi-fi in our cabin. There are also hot spots up in the Seaside Grill on Deck 10 aft and the Cafe Al Bacio area on Deck 5.
