pocketsofposies Posted January 2, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 2, 2011 Shark teeth on the beaches of our port stops? I am asking b/c my 10 year old had a blast searching for and finding shark teeth in Vero Beach Florida last spring. They were black and would roll in with the surf. We found about 10 of them in a day. My other girls, ages 4 and 8 love shell hunting. So what will we find on the beaches of Costa Maya, Cozumel and Roatan? Many Thanks!:D
pengu1n Posted January 2, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 2, 2011 In Costa Maya last year, we did not really see any shells or shark teeth on the beach (were not particularly looking for them, but I think I would have noticed as I enjoy shell-collecting.) We were at Maya Chan Beach Resort, which I would recommend to anyone (except shell collectors! ;) ) The water was very shallow for a long way out so that may effect the things that would land on the beach. Did not go to the beach in the other places.
