Santiago layover

We have a 6 hour layover in Santiago in February. Is it worth trying to leave the airport? Any suggestions?

The airport - city centre round trip is around 90 minutes, add on something for delays, add on the time you need to be at the airport before your flight departs and you don't have a lot of time to spare.
