Upgrades

So I am going on the Monarch of the seas in a couple of days. I just got my luggage tags and they had a completely new room. We originally had an ocean view room on deck 5 and now we have a junior suite. I've only cruised with RC 2 times before so I'm not exactly a diamond member. I'm not complaining at all just wanted to know if this happens often.

Congrats! That's a nice surprise. We're D+ and haven't gotten an upgrade since 2000.

We were on Radiance last month and they had numerous suites open (Junior and above) and instead of giving anyone an upgrade they played BINGO for upgrades once on board.

We received an upgrade on our second RCI cruise. Smart move because we only book balconies or above now. Enjoy your JS.
