Mystery Ship coins location thread

I thought it would be cool to start a thread we the location of the "ships coins" could be posted by those who had dound them. If you know the location, please list the ship and location. I'm going to start a new tradition and get a picture of each on on each ship we sail on.

I found the Destiny ones by the basketball court.

On the Triumph, I found a $2 bill near the basketball court. No coin. It was encased in the metal with a plastic cover. It read Triumph 1999.

It's the album cover art for Led Zeppelin's first album. It's a drawing of a photo of the Hindenburg zeppelin crashing.

On the Dream is is by the entrance to the stairs for the waterslides on deck 14.

Here is the coin from the Conquest. Not sure if someone broke the glass or if it got broken from stacking the deck chairs in front of it. Located on deck 14.

There was a thread awhile back talking about these coins. I think some ships have two coins ; the real ones the ship builders put there and the display one.

I found the coins on the Miracle. But, i'm not telling where they are. That would take all the fun out it. They do exist. Have fun searching for them. :D

I agree. I am going on the pride on the 23rd, and the Dream on March 5th, and going to look for them there.

What is the story with Ship Coins? Is it like displaying the first dollar you make if you own your own business?

 

Its a ship builders tradition. Coins are usually placed in the keel of a ship as an offering to the gods so that they will allow it safe passage. Now they mostly just symbolize good luck.

 

I'm assuming the ones they put on display are copies of the ones in the hull, if in fact there even are any in the hull.
