The Mrs. S Posted January 9, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 9, 2011 I know, I know, the cruise is about relaxing and having a good time, but I feel like it's to early in the year to give up on my resolution! We are sailing on the Carnival Spirit and I know they offer pilates and yoga classes I was just wondering if anyone knew the schedule or if they are an extra charge? firefly333 Posted January 9, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 9, 2011 Classes are a extra charge, but not that expensive (someone else said yesterday on a thread they were $12 a class). Dont have the schedule sorry.
CanWeGoYet? Posted January 9, 2011 #3 Share Posted January 9, 2011 From what I've seen the classes are early morning, and also afternoon on sea days.

riffatsea Posted January 9, 2011 #6 Share Posted January 9, 2011 I find that just using the stairs( or as X navy DH would say "ladders") is an easy way to get exercise on the ship. Remember in the old old days folks just did a lot of walking, lifting, wood chopping etc. and they were not as heavy as we are today!!
estella15 Posted January 9, 2011 #7 Share Posted January 9, 2011 On the Valor (2009) and the Liberty (2010), they had some free classes in the gym. I took both an abs lab and a circuit training class for free. They were both in the late afternoon on port days.
