Hi all. As of right now i'm scheduled to be in cabin 8548 as of now for a feb sailing, and it looks like it might be above the centrum? boleros? can't really tell but wondering. anyone know? thanks!

That's an excellent cabin - it's one of the really unobstructed Category I cabins.

Anybody know how bad the obstructed view is on deck 8?

depends which cabin.........some have very little, while others it is obstructed a bit by the lifeboats.........you still will see water and sky though..

Pick one of these(marked with a dot) for the less amount of obstruction

The boyfriend and I were on the Majesty back in August 2010 and had an "obstructed" room. Honestly, it was actually a pretty good view. We weren't on deck 8 but on deck 9, in room 9522. I knew I took these pictures for a reason.

Deck 8 cabins are different.

If you are in one of the truly obstructed cabins, that lifeboat in your picture hangs COMPLETELY in front of your window.

The "unobstructed" ones have the good fortune to have their window in that space between lifeboats that your picture so clearly shows.

Just try not to get over Boleros, unless you are a night owl. They play fairly loud music at night and you can really hear it in the cabins above. The bass had things vibrating slightly the one time we did that.
