susiesan Posted January 12, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 12, 2011 When Regatta goes out of service soon for the soft goods refurbishment and the sprucing up, at what location is this actually done? Is it in the US or overseas? Just curious.

Do you think the ship is still over in Europe and didn't come over in November to warmer climates? I don't see a transatlantic crossing scheduled for January. The first 2011 sailing is Feb. 3 from Miami.

Sharicruz Posted January 12, 2011 #5 Share Posted January 12, 2011 The Regatta will be drydocked at the only facility in the Americas that can handle five mega cruise ships at once. Shari Sharicruz6

Shari Sharicruz6 But, but, she's not a mega ship. She's a mini ship :-)
ddcruiser Posted January 13, 2011 #9 Share Posted January 13, 2011 I hope the powers that be will check the plumbing as well. We were on the ship in May, June, 2010 and toilets broke repeatedly on 6th floor. It is no fun having to call time after time. So much for expectations. ddcruiser
