Embassy Suites Miami Airport

Is it a nice hotel? Anywhere to eat at? Stores and shopping malls. How far is Bayside from the hotel? Are there stores to get something to drink at? Things to do. We will be there 5-20-2011. Anybody else that same day?

We stayed here back in 2009. The hotel was nice, a little dated, but not too bad. There is not much around the hotel in terms of shopping or places to eat. You can walk to a places, but it is not exactly walking on a sidewalk. We had a car to go places when we there.

A good choice if you are arriving late and just want to relax beofre heading to POM the next day. :cool:

 

This hotel is out by the MIA airport - a 15 minute/$25 cab ride from downtown Miami and Bayside Market; to get to Miami Beach would be a $30+ cab ride. :( Nice hotel, big rooms, okay pool, free happy hour :D, restaurant inside the hotel, great free breakfast -- the cruise package offered free shuttle to POM for one person (all others in your group paid $10 each). If you choose not to shuttle a cab to POM will run under $30 including tip.
