What is Express Check-In?

When I picked up our tickets for the March 19th sailing on the Grand, some of the tickets in our group had a label "Express Check-In". What does that mean?

It just means that all of your documentation has been processed with Princess and all you will have to do is show your passport or ID and they will scan your credit card. It makes boarding the ship much quicker!

There are special lines at embarkation for people who have filled in all their paperwork and received the Express Checkin stickers. But sometimes the regular lines for your deck will be quicker, like when there are 10 people in the Express Checkin line and only one couple in the regular line.

Princess offers the quickest and most efficient embarkation of any line on which DH and I have sailed. If you pre-register on-line, and all your passenger information is in order prior to the day of sailing, the boarding process is a breeze. Simply present your passport (preferred) or photo ID, your credit card, and your cruise ticket, and you are on your way to a fabulous cruise in minutes!
