Changing ship on RCI, after final pay

I am booked on Enchantment of the Seas out of Baltimore on Feb 19th. Since I booked this rates have dropped on cruises leaving from Fort Lauderdale that I would rather be on. Has anyone ever been able to change a reservation last minute to another ship on RCI?

Unless they really want people off your original ship (ie, they are overbooked), they usually do not allow changes after final payment.

Have to agree -- I haven't heard of any recent cruise line allowing you to change your monies from one ship to another.

 

You can call and ask -- but don't be surprised if they say that they consider that you are cancelling your first cruise and will keep your money.
