Mini golf, lots of pool games, golf simulator, ping pong, kareoke, scavenger hunt, nice whirlpools, esp the one in the gym. The shows are lots of fun. My fave things are the guest talent show and the game night where they split the guests up into blue and red team and you do challenges to win points...lots of fun!!

My fiance was asking me what all there is to do aboard the Carnival Legend and I am kinda wondering myself now. I know about the water slide and the casino, but what else is there?

Shows, shopping, music of different kinds to listen to (mostly on the Lido and Promenade decks), wine tasting, sitting and relaxing, piano bar, trivia games, dance classes, people-watching, and bunches of other stuff that will be listed in the Fun Times that you will receive daily.

I went on the Legend August 2010. It was my first cruise. There was so much to do. It was hard to keep up. Everyday you receive the Fun Times and it seems as though it's something to do every minute. Here are a few of the fun times that you'll have on the Legend.

Adult dodge-ball, Couples dance class, Name That Tune, Be A Game Show Star, Bingo, Karaoke, Liquor Tasting, Sing Along Party, Comedy Shows, Talent Shows, Art Auctions, Trivia Challenges, Shopping, Dance Club, Mini Golf, Raffles, Ping Pong tournaments, assorted contests, Cooking Demonstrations (AWESOME!!!), Deck Parties, Magic shows, Movies, MJ tribute night, basketball and a few more fun times that you'll have.

My DH and I were on the Legend last September for our first cruise. There is so much to do. Take three markers, yellow, orange and blue. First: Mark everything that you would like to do in your fun times the evening prior when it comes to your stateroom. In the morning, take the orange marker and mark what you will be ABLE to do. Then that evening, take the blue marker and mark what you did. There is to much to do. Take our advice...do the one thing that we did not get to do...RELAX!!

We are booking again on the Legend for September of this year and that will be our first priority!

Have a blast and enjoy.

There are lots of planned activities as mentioned above. Remember, you have ports 4 days in a row (depending on what happens with Belize), so you're pretty busy;) When we were just on the Legend in Nov, they had deck parties on many of the nites (as opposed to 1 or 2 nites on our prior Legend cruises)...they alternated them between the main Lido and aft Lido.

Don't feel like you have to do it all. Take time to relax and enjoy being in the middle of the ocean. My favorite place for this is the aft lido area, day or nite!:)

We went on the Legend in November. I can send you the daily paper if you like (can't remember what it is called). I kept all of them.

Do not be afraid to meet new people. Some of my best friends were met on cruises and we still cruise together now. Go where people are. We loved the Legend (sailed in December and it ranks #1 out of our 7 trips on Carnival) but a vacation is what you make it....it won't all come to you, sometimes you have to go to "IT".

Have fun!

TALK TO PEOPLE!

Talk with the people in line with you at the cruise terminal while waiting to get your SS card and while waiting to be called aboard. Talk to people while in line to "ding in" onto the ship. Talk to people waiting at the bar for your first DOD (drink of the day) and when standing at the rail watching the port go away.

Don't know what to say? How about, "Hi, where are your from?" or "Do you cruise alot, have any tips?" Talk to people during the cruise in elevators, bars and lines and ask how their outing went.

You'll likely find that the more people you make friends with, the more fun you'll probably have. That's ALWAYS been our experience.

Oh, and find a "ROLL CALL" for your ship and sailing and meet people waaaay before you sail. Did that for the first time our last cruise and we had a mini party at the back pool bar immediately after the lifeboat drill. Right away, new friends!

:):):)

(Also, don't be in a hurry, or impatient, and don't stress out about anything. Nobody is getting more than you and nothing will be so bad as to waste any vacation time being upset. Laugh and have great fun!)

We went on the Legend 2 yrs ago and yesterday I just booked another trip on her. We had so much fun. We are a family group of 6 with a major age range (19-86) and never had a dull moment. What was nice is, we could do as little or as much as we wanted and it was fantastic.

I didn't realize how wonderful the Legend was until our last cruise. ;)
