Formal wear...long or short? What's the majority?

This is true and makes me happy that the full length dresses I accumulated previously, were bought on sale so that when I see them hanging useless in my closet, I don't feel like I wasted a ton of money.

 

 

don't know if its been said yet (for not reading entire thread)take your long dresses to the cleaners and cut them off. Use the lower part for a wrap and you'll have plenty of cocktail dresses.

I love the dress up nights, my DH even likes them and he looks good too. I usually take a couple long flowing pant skirt type things and some blingy tops and it looks nice. It's fun and everyone looks nice regardless of the length of their skirts, well maybe not too short.
