vfb2girls Posted January 21, 2011 #51 Share Posted January 21, 2011 My man prefers that I wear nothing. I don't think that would fly with Carnival.... This is exactly what my husband thinks too! I am still amazed after 28 years of marriage he still thinks this way!:D
MrPete Posted January 21, 2011 #52 Share Posted January 21, 2011 Unless you were on a nudist cruise :) You must wear clothes in the MDR on a nudist cruise. So I've heard.

mgm61 Posted January 21, 2011 #54 Share Posted January 21, 2011 This is true and makes me happy that the full length dresses I accumulated previously, were bought on sale so that when I see them hanging useless in my closet, I don't feel like I wasted a ton of money. don't know if its been said yet (for not reading entire thread)take your long dresses to the cleaners and cut them off. Use the lower part for a wrap and you'll have plenty of cocktail dresses.

navybaby1113 Posted January 21, 2011 #57 Share Posted January 21, 2011 I normally wear a short dress for formal night, but this time I'm wearing a long gown.
sandij Posted January 21, 2011 #58 Share Posted January 21, 2011 I love the dress up nights, my DH even likes them and he looks good too. I usually take a couple long flowing pant skirt type things and some blingy tops and it looks nice. It's fun and everyone looks nice regardless of the length of their skirts, well maybe not too short.
beachseasand Posted January 22, 2011 #59 Share Posted January 22, 2011 Short coctail dresses is all I have ever worn for elegant nights. Definitely more versatile. Last time I wore a full length gown was for my friend's weddings and they were a looooooong time ago.
