thefudgecompany Posted January 22, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 22, 2011 Hi! We are seasoned cruisers and are looking to take a cruise over next thanksgiving with our kids. I am wondering do lots of families cruise with there kids over this holiday like I know people do over Christmas and Spring/summer break. Thanks for any help. cb at sea Posted January 22, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 22, 2011 Anytime there is a "school holiday", you will find alot of kids onboard.
FlaMommy75 Posted January 22, 2011 #3 Share Posted January 22, 2011 We cruised over this past Thanksgiving and LOVED it.Weather was perfect! My kids were ages 7 and 5. The camp counselors said there were over 600 children under the age of 11 on the ship (on a ship that only carries 2000) Other than drop off in the morning, we really didn't feel it was too crowded. Would definitely travel again over Thanksgiving.
Warm Breezes Posted January 23, 2011 #4 Share Posted January 23, 2011 We have cruised over Thanksgiving 3 times. You will find a lot of families cruising then.
Onessa Posted January 26, 2011 #5 Share Posted January 26, 2011 We've cruised the Med three times, and HI twice over Thanksgiving. Even in Europe where Tgiving is not a holiday there have been plenty of kids.
Colorado Kat Posted January 27, 2011 #6 Share Posted January 27, 2011 Lots of kids at that time of year. The kid's clubs should be a lot of fun.
