I usually break even but I don't bet a whole lot of money either. My wife won a couple hundred dollars on a couple of our cruises. But she loses most of the time. So guess they do pay off but not as often as I would like!

Oh don't play the machines! Try some craps or blackjack. The cruises I've been on offer newbies a training session to learn the basic rules and strategies. It's fun!

Once saw a tv show where they said that you could probably make more money by throwing a twenty from the balcony than win slots on a cruise ship- LOL-A friend once won $800. We love slots but try to stay away from them (as much as possible)

Better off to play the slots tournaments-pretty good odds and lots of fun. Princess usually has "friendly black jack" or "face up black jack" that we usually do prety good at. But as with any casino-always rememebr Las Vegas wasnt built by winners LOL
