Did you love the solarium?

Ok, for all of you who have already sailed Allure...Did you find the solarium a great place to lay out or was it as hot as it was on Brilliance? We love the solarium but on those enclosed ones we couldn't stand the heat in the afternoons.

Looking forward to seeing what kind of answers you get to this one. We have loved the Solariums on Voyager and Freedom class ships.

Absolutely loved the solarium!!! There is a wonderful amount of open ceiling and windows to get a nice breeze. On very hot days it does get a little warm admittedly but it is absolutely stunning.

Correct, we love the Solarium, as long as they keep it adults only, it is that one place to escape from noisey kids :D

Yeah, the solarium is our go to all day place when it is right! Especially love it on the Voyager & Freedom class ships but have been less than pleased on the ships with the covered solarium. It got so stuffy and humid in there by the afternoon and the roof was never opened. So wish they hadn't put a roof on it. What's the point of laying out, inside!?

I loved, Loved, LOVED the Solarium on the Oasis. But it was July and WOW did it get hot. I still loved it.

Memories of the solorium on Allure.... There was a storm brewing off the front of the ship, and hubby and I were cuddled up in the circular chairs .... The ship kept moving head on into the storm and then it began to pour rain... because the front of the ship's solorium is covered with glass, we were able to stay outside on the solourim, keep dry and continued to enjoy the thunder and lighting show as evening started to change over to night.... Everyone else headed inside and we had the most romantic time with the entire solorium to ourselves for about 3 hours....

Just off the Allure on Sunday. Spent one afternoon there for a good nap, it wasn't hot or stuffy at all. But then again it's January. Not sure if you'll really know until this summer.

 

The round chairs with the white fabric canopies are not there as on the Oasis. I did see a few on the deck above the Solarium reserved for the "gold cards"
