Boogie Board?

My 5 year old son wants to know if he can bring his boogie board on the ship for the beach? I've searched high and low and cannot find anything.. Thanks in advance :D

Sure...he can't use it in the ship's pools, but can take it to a beach!

If you/he doesn't mind carrying it and it fits through the metal detectors I don't see why not. We all brought out own snorkeling equipment and I have seen people with the blow up floats.

I have ridden both, a lot, and a boogie board is not even close to a surf board. U should have no trouble with a small one.

I agree, I have seen a lot of boogy boards go on the ship from the west coast. Just so it doesn't have a metal fin.

 

On a side note, I still have one of the original Tom Morey boogy boards from late 1970.:) It is the yellow with white bottom. Tom lives in San Clemente.

Personally, I'd much rather not take it, as its just something else we have to lug around that first day, but it's hard to argue with the little cutie! lol

OH-puhleeze. A surfboard IS NOT a BOOGIE BOARD ask anyone from either coast! Plus a boogie board for a 5 yo is pretty small. Pack it in your checked luggage if you can and it will be fine.

A boogie board is not a surfboard. Our rule is that the kids have to carry their stuff.....I refuse to be a packmule. I would explain about how long you guys might walk places and then discuss the reward versus the pain and let him decide. Sometimes experience is the best teacher.
