Westerdam Main Deck Rooms

My parents booked an HH category guarantee and were just assigned a C category on the Main Deck--mid ship. They are in their 80's but very capable and able to move around freely. Does anyone have any photos of a C room on the Westerdam and is the window a porthole or regular window. It seems like it is very low on the ship so how much will they actually be able to see looking out?

Any opinions (good of bad) on this category on the Westerdam?

Congrats on the nice upgrade!

The Main deck is the lowest passenger deck, but it is still about 40 feet above the water, and the view will be good. Even when docked the 2.5 ft x 3.5 ft window will still be 25 ft or so above the dock.

I doubt that your parents will spend a lot of time looking out their window anyway! :)

Wow, great upgrade! The standard image on the HAL website representing an oceanview room would essentially be right. Only difference may be if it's "flipped" (desk and couch on opposite sides of that shown) or if they had an accessible room.
