Pacific Pearl - Deck 5 (cabins 5163/5165)

hello - we are booked for Christmas 2011 (P139) leaving Akld on 19 December. Non of us have been on the Pearl before and we have been updated to window cabins, but when looking at the location it doesnt look that great being out the casino - anyone been in an outside cabin on Deck 5 and what are your thoughts???

Hi,

I am assuming you mean a cabin somewhere between P160 and P179. These cabins would be great. They have a large window and are amidships (so less movement in rough seas). Don't be concerned about being near the casino. There is a solid wall shown on the deckplan. The only entrances to this corridor are near cabin P154 or P155 or further back near the lifts/stairs (P210/P211). It would be a very quiet location with no through-traffic.:)

 

A more important thing to look at is what is above your cabin. Here it is other cabins - the best thing.:) The people in the outside cabins on Deck 6 have an outside deck or the restaurant above them. Having an outside deck above you is not so good.

 

I think your cabin is as good as it can get (other than a balcony):):).
