What's up with this? "Q" Guarantee Higher Priced than Specific inside Cabin?

Recommended Posts

Why would a guarantee"Q" be higher priced than a specific set category inside cabin? What's up with that thinking????.... And why would one book a guarantee if it is higher priced and take a chance of getting the lowest category inside? I have seen this happen when I have checked pricing on a couple of cruises and just can't figure it out.:eek::)

Sure - you take the chance that you get the lowest catagory inside. But, if you are a gambler.....you might hit paydirt and get an outside or higher cabin, too.
