Whats the weather like in the Caribbean at the moment

Hi

 

is anyone just back from their cruise to the Caribbean who can give me some idea of what the weather is like their at the moment.

I have been following the 10 day forecast, as we fly out to Barbados on 12th February, and it looks pretty poor.

I know it's not always a true indication, and sometimes it's much better when you are out there. But it does seem to be mixed at the moment, and I'm wondering if the "strange" weather in other parts of the world has any effect on it

Just returned from 14 nights. This year it is one of the wettest 'dry seasons' for years, possibly another el nina effect. lots of liquid sunshine as they call the occassionally torrential showers out there. Don't worry as the rain is warm and you will probably have several good days.

The weather forecast for islands like Barbados will always be much the same, partly cloudy, scattered showers 20% chance of rain, 28c. This is because at sometime somewhere on the island it will be true.

Last week, we had one heavy shower in Curacao which lasted about 10 minutes and we had beautiful weather the rest of the time. :)

Just spoken to someone who got off Ventura at the weekend and they only had one rainy day (in St Lucia) but she said always warm - temp in high 20s.

It was 80 in St Kitts on Feb 1st, so my friend says in his cruise review.

Oh it's always hot, but will it rain? We had a lot of rain in December, seemed we were always wet!
