Camp Carnival age question

Does anyone know how strict they are regarding age cut off for the camp? My toddler will be 3 weeks short of turning 2 when we cruise. Do they check age when you enroll? I would only want to send her for a couple of hours at a time to allow her to have some fun doing "toddler" things. We're on the Valor and I'm not sure if there are other play areas outside of the Camp.

Strict; they know your child's age, and they must be at least 2 to be left at CC.

They are absolutely strict. They have to be age 2 by the day of embarkation. They do have under 2 time you can go in with them for free or leave them for babysitting from 8-10am on sea days and port day from time of arrival in port until noon. Also babysitting from 10p-3am nightly for $6/hr. They will not make any exceptions, sorry. I was told it had to do with their liability insurance.

My daughter turned 2 during the cruise and they would not let her into the kids club (without us) until her birthday. You can't get around it.
