Is there bus tranportation (National Express) from Gatwick to Victoria Station, if so, where is the bus terminal it located and do you need advance reservations.

Your assistance would be very much appreciated.

As Twickenham says, why would you want the coach, when the Southern trains to Victoria are twice as fast, many times more comfortable than a vehicle, have more luggage capacity and for every bus there are 8 or 9 trains.

If you are looking for the cheapness then the easyBus service from Gatwick will save you a few pounds, but very few find it worthwhile.

There are both "GATWICK EXPRESS" trains every 15 mins (about 20 mins to London), and regular Southern Line trains about every 15 mins (about 30 mins to London); the latter being just a wee bit cheaper
For a passenger who's new to London and to UK trains, and possibly travelling during the morning peak, and who's got luggage with them, I highly recommend using the Gatwick Express even though it's a wee bit more expensive.

The Gatwick Express is designed for you. Southern Railway commuter trains are not.

Depends when you arrive. There's plenty of room on Southern's trains if you're traveling outside of rushhour peaks.

It's not just space. It's also the fact that the Southern trains often don't stop at Gatwick Airport for long - sometimes only 60 seconds or so.

If you take the Gatwick Express, almost all the trains turn around at Gatwick, where they wait a much longer time, so that getting oneself and one's bags on board is less rushed and stressed.

You can easily imagine a situation in which two trans-Atlantic passengers, who've perhaps had no sleep overnight and have been awake for getting on for 24 hours straight while doing some exhausting travelling, are trying to get four suitcases, two wheelie bags and two small "personal item" size bags on board a Southern train. In that condition, it's easy to forget to load one bag if rushed, if each thinks that the other has already done it. That could really ruin the start of their holiday.
