Transportation Rentals in Key West

Bike rentals come with locks. Be sure to use them and you will be fine. I think bikes are the best way to tour Key West. Scooters are fairly easy to park as there is dedicated scooter parking around town. Just be sure you park legally as scooters can be ticketed or towed just like cars. Electric cars can be difficult to park in Old Town, but there are a couple garages and some places have small parking lots. The closer you are to Mallory Square, the harder it is to park. Do not park in spots labeled "residents only" or you could be ticketed or towed.

We were just in Key West for 2 days pre-cruise. We rented bikes for a day, and it was great! If just there for 1 day and didn't have mobility issues, I would rent bikes and ride the whole island. They have a great bike trail to take. Very easy to park, and use the bike lock that is provided. If you rent an electric car, very expensive, plus hard to find parking spots. Using lots of time to find parking, and paying for parking above paying for the car. The bikes is a great way to get around, and it is great exercise. It is flat, so no big hills to ride up.
