Arizona traveler Posted February 20, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2011 1. Are there any local tours to Cradle Mountain that you'd suggest? 2. Does anyone have other recommendations of things to do and see in Burnie, NZ?

lindy12 Posted February 20, 2011 #3 Share Posted February 20, 2011 Burnie, Melbourne and Brisbane are in Australia, NOT New Zealand!
room010 Posted February 20, 2011 #4 Share Posted February 20, 2011 Burnie is in the island state of Tasmania, Australia - nothing to do with New Zealand (completely different country).

kitty9 Posted February 20, 2011 #6 Share Posted February 20, 2011 1. Are there any local tours to Cradle Mountain that you'd suggest? 2. Does anyone have other recommendations of things to do and see in Burnie, NZ? First of all, it's not in NZ, but Tasmania, Australia. Second, this question should go to the Ports of Call board, under Australia.
jjones Posted February 20, 2011 #7 Share Posted February 20, 2011 In 2009 I went to Cradle Mountain with Cradle Coast Tours, hjsmith14@hotmail.com or http://www.CradleCoastTours.com.au. My guide was Brian, an exceptional man, quite interesting. It was a very nice tour, but quite long. Cradle Mountain is very often covered by clouds, so viewing is uncertain.
