May 2-4 we will be in Vancouver pre cruise before our 6 day inside passage alaska cruise. We will be flying in at 1pm on the 2nd. Looking for a decent hotel for 4 people prefer walking distance to the cruise ship...is that possible without going over about 200 a night? something decent. It doesnt need to be super fancy since all we will use it for is sleep and shower but I dont want some slum hole in the wall either.

Also...what is the MUST SEE or MUST DO attractions in Vancouver? We will have the evening of the 2nd and all day and night on the 3rd to see the sites. Any suggestion is appreciated.

Priceline, bid downtown for 3 or 4 star, you should get something decent within a mile of cruise terminal.

I think you have posted this question on another thread. But yes that price is definitely achievable by bidding on Priceline.com. Go to the bidding screen, choose Vancouver-Downtown (not the entertainment district), click on 3.5*+ and start bidding at about $90. For <$135 pn you should get a great hotel in an excellent location. As Vancouver's downtown is quite compact none of the hotels are very far from Canada Place. If you want to be right at the pier than the Pan Pacific or the Fairmont Waterfront is what you want but those are hard to score at your price point...but sometimes the PP does have promotions, you just have to watch for them.
