Anyone gone to Coco Cay recently? Valuables question!

Recommended Posts

DH and I are currently booked on the 3-day Bahama's cruise aboard Majesty of the Seas departing 4/8/11. The ports of call are going to be Nassau and Coco Cay. I reserved a Jet Ski shore excursion in Coco Cay and am really worried about the valuables we'll be bringing onto the island.

1) Will I be able to wear a backpack while on the jet ski? Or do the guides require you to leave your valuables off the jet ski's?

2) If so, are there lockers where I can leave my backpack?

Please help!

Thanks!:o

Yep, rent a locker. But with that said, I loved this excursion. You really get to open the jet skis wide open going to several islands. Have done many jet ski excursions in the carribean but this one gets your adrenaline going. I was jumping 3 to 5 foot waves full throdle just to keep up with the group.

That's GREAT news!! Judging by other reviews I'd read, I thought I had made a mistake in booking this excursion. But I'm ready now:cool:

If you like to go fast just be the first to raise your hand when he says "who wants to go fast" I about slugged my husband thinking it was a trick question but they want those that have a need for speed and the others bring up the rear. You do all drive in a line with an instructor in the lead and another in the rear. Once you get to a stop they wait for everyone to arrive then tell about the area your at, the best was starfish alley where they pass around a few starfish for people to touch. I really had a blast as a passenger.
