As you can see, I like to plan in advance...:p :cool:Not quite sure what you mean about nightly schedule, but if you want dress code (suggested) for type evenings, to to RCCL website. Look under Before You Board at top. Look under What to Know vbefore your go, then what to pack. It gives suggested attire for each type evening. :cool:Can't help with show or times. First seating has show maybe at 8:30, after dinner, and early seating usually at 6:30 give or take
aprilcruisers Posted February 24, 2011 Author #3 Share Posted February 24, 2011 Thanks for helping. I was just wondering which nights, specifcally, were formal, and which nights were casual, semi-casual, etc.
BallFour4 Posted February 24, 2011 #4 Share Posted February 24, 2011 Thanks for helping. I was just wondering which nights, specifcally, were formal, and which nights were casual, semi-casual, etc. You will find that for the majority semi-casual is dead. With a fly-in port and 50 pound luggage limits it often is formal attire or khakis/jeans for men with a polo. Women's attire range from capris, jeans and casual dresses. I am not the fashion police, but what i described above is what we've seen on 6 RCCL ships and the examples I gave are within the dress guidelines. Have a great trip! . galavant3 Posted February 24, 2011 #5 Share Posted February 24, 2011 The schedule will depend on your itinerary. When are you sailing? In our experience formal nights are usually day 2 and day 6 but that can vary.
RoofingPrincess Posted February 24, 2011 #6 Share Posted February 24, 2011 Voyager Apr 10 is Western Caribbean, with sea days on days 2, 6, and 7. I'd guess formal nights on days 2 and 6; they usually put them on a sea day if possible, but not on the last night of the cruise.
Jimnbigd Posted February 25, 2011 #7 Share Posted February 25, 2011 Galveston Voyager of the Seas formal nights are Monday and Friday for the Grand Cayman/Jamaica route. I think this is true also for the Belize/Roatan route. Other nights have titles such as "dressy casual", but really no one seems to pay attention except for formal nights. I usually wear nice slacks and shirt for non-formal nights. Likely shows: * Sunday night -- one welcome aboard show * Monday night -- two headliner shows (singer or comedian) * Tuesday night -- two production shows with singers and dancers * Tuesday night -- might be late night comedy; this varies * Wednesday night -- might only be the ice show offered; this seems to vary; usually ice shows are scheduled, starting with 2 on Monday afternoon. * Thursday night -- another headliner show (2 shows) * Thursday or Friday night -- Quest (the night of this is really up to the CD) * Friday night -- another production show (2 shows) * Saturday night -- one farewell show "The above schedule is subject to change. JIMNBIGD is not responsible for errors or omissions." ;) I don't know about the Europe Voyager OTS.
cb at sea Posted February 25, 2011 #8 Share Posted February 25, 2011 Capris, sundress, skirt or slacks are fine for both casual and "smart" casuals nights. For the formal nights, either a gown or cocktail dress is the appropriate clothing.
