What is around the Renaissance?

We are booked at the Renaissance Ft. Lauderdale at Port Everglades and I was wondering if there is a liquor store, drugstore, etc. within walking distance of the hotel. Can anyone advise?

DH and I like to stay at the Renaissance because it is easy walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The helpful staff will tell you where you can find whatever you are looking for and how to get there.

 

The hotel offers shuttle service to the cruise terminal ($6 per person). Just show up in the lobby when you're ready to go to the ship, and they'll get you on your way.

There is a Walgreens drug store right across the road...and a Publix grocery store and a Total Wine (with other bottled goodies) just up the street

The Renaissance has become our regular pre-cruise hotel when sailing out of Port Everglades. There is a Walgreen directly across the street and the choice of Total Wine or Crown Wine & Liquor that are a two block walk.

 

There are also several nice restaurants nearby, with Carlos & Pepi's our personal favorite.

Our favorite also - have stayed there several times. Easy walking distance to restaurants, Walgreen's, liquor store, and we love Einstein's Bagels (love the pumperknickel bagel) for a light breakfast. Bimini Boatyard is a nice place to sit outside and have a beverage - but we haven't had dinner there.

I too stay at the Renaissance in FLL:D. Really like the location & everything you need can be found within a few blocks.
