thistimeplease Posted February 25, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 25, 2011 We will be on the Jewel this June and will be docking in Port Canaveral for a day. My husband and I are interested in the Kennedy Space Center excursions and wonder if anyone has done them? If so which excursion would you recommend, Nasa Up Close or Kennedy Space Center? ussenterprise Posted February 25, 2011 #2 Share Posted February 25, 2011 Wife and I are doing NASA up close next month. I will be posting a review when we get back, so you'll have a recent perspective :)

dexddd Posted February 25, 2011 #4 Share Posted February 25, 2011 I can't remember which one we did although we went into the visitor's center and then you can take one of the KSC buses that runs on a regular schedule to the outskirts of the space center to various attractions. You can then visit the attraction and then catch the next bus that shows up. There is an IMAX theater which has two movies. If you don't want to take the NCL excursion, you can rent a car (the distance from ship to rental place is only a 5 minute shuttle ride and they will pick you up). On the return I'd drop off your travelling companions at the ship, drop off the car, and take the rental shuttle back to the ship.
